For a nonnegative random variable $X$ with $0<\mathbb{E}X<\infty$, its size-biased version $\hat{X}$ is defined byfor bounded measurable $h$. If $X$ has density $f$, then $\hat{X}$ has density $xf(x)/\mathbb{E}X$.
