Particle exchange operator ($P_{12}$)

For two particles, the exchange operator sends $|\alpha ⟩\otimes |\beta ⟩$ to $|\beta ⟩\otimes |\alpha ⟩$. It has eigenvalues $+1$ on symmetric states and $-1$ on antisymmetric states.
